Intro to this Week
We’re reversing tutorial/class time with lab time this week. You’ll be using your classroom time for lab, to be researching, brainstorming and shooting video for your cinemagraph and having creative meetings with the instructor. At home you have about 50 minutes worth of videos to watch introducing you to our next software application, InDesign.

InDesign Introduction
InDesign is publishing software, traditionally used for print documents like advertisements, brochures, business cards, and posters. It is now also able to generate digital files by exporting to EPUB and SWF for eBooks. You can also use it to export to PDFs (I use it to create the PDF files of class slides). Generally, it is a better layout tool when you are mixing a lot of text with graphics (whether they come from Illustrator or Photoshop).
