1. Smart Objects
Smart Objects are a way of storing full-resolution images in our working Photoshop files. These can be very advantageous, helping us to not throw out pixel data (resolution).

2. Smart Filters
Filters allow us to make tremendous changes to our images, but they’re destructive. Smart Filters are an extension of Smart Objects that allow us to turn filters on and off, or even go back and modify the filter settings. Let’s watch a quick demonstration starting at 7:05 of this video:
3. Blending Modes
Blending Modes are a very powerful tool in Photoshop that can take some time to master, often through trial and error. We’re going to watch this video explaining exactly how they work and how they’re useful:
