Hi! My name is Alyza-Sky Castro. It's pronounced Uh-lie-zuh (hopefully that helps).I am Colombian and Salvadoran. I am currently a student at CSU, Chico, where I’m majoring in Computer Animation and Game Design. After I graduate, I’m hoping to pursue a Master’s in Library and Information Science (MLIS) to become an archivist, specifically working within the animation film industry. I have a deep passion for storytelling and preserving history, and I plan to combine that love with my interest in animation.
I’m originally from South Central Los Angeles, but I recently moved to the Burbank area, which feels like the perfect place to be surrounded by creativity and film. Even though I’m an only child, I have a big, close-knit family that I love spending time with. Currently, I have a job working as a Desk Attendant for one of the campus housing buildings and just recently started a production internship at KCSC radio. I really wanted to take this class as I have some experience with web design. While it was only a small handful of times that I've done it, I've always enjoyed the process of making a website and found it so cool. It was a great merge of my love for technology and design. I'm hoping I can expand on the little knowledge I have and to learn as much as I can from the class.
