Coltin Arbogast

My name is Coltin Arbogast, and I'm a game design student, super passionate about storytelling and crafting immersive experiences. Currently, I am working on a short Star Wars animation in Unreal Engine, where I'm exploring the blend of design, animation, and interactive media. Before coming to game design, I studied anthropology with a focus on forensics and crime scene investigation. I made the switch to game design just last semester to follow my growing passion for the gaming industry. Over the past few years, I’ve been developing a variety of skills in game design and development. One of my proudest projects is Somnium, a tabletop role-playing game I’ve been working on for the last three years. It’s been an incredible journey that has allowed me to blend creativity, strategy, and storytelling. In addition to Somnium, I’ve worked on other game development projects, and I’m constantly learning new ways to push the boundaries of interactive design. Outside of school, I run and love Dungeons & Dragons campaigns to further expand my world-building and storytelling skills. As a gamer, some challenging and immersive titles that appeal to me include Elden Ring, The Binding of Isaac, and Stellaris; these offer deep narratives and dynamic gameplay that drive inspiration in my designs.
