Hello everyone, my name is Kyle Ramser, and I am currently attending Chico State as a Computer Animation and Game Development major. This will be my 4th year attending CSU - Chico, and I am nearly done with my bachelor’s degree. I am hoping to one day have my dream job of being the creative lead on a popular video game, but for now, I can’t wait to get into my field and start creating levels and worlds within games. I have always been fascinated by web design, and with a career in developing videogames on the horizon, I decided it was time I learned how to develop a site where I can have more control than I have on something like Wix or Weebly. I am excited to start learning all about web development, and hope that I can learn a lot before this class is over.
Now for a few things about my personal life, I enjoy music, being around friends, watching sports, and, of course, playing video games. About two years ago I joined the Phi Delta Theta fraternity, and have met a lot of my best friends through this connection, as well as learned a lot about myself and responsibility. I have been working with code since my sophomore year of high school, and always enjoyed working with it and seeing what I can make happen through the use of computers. While CSS is a lot different than C#, which is what I mostly work with, I am hoping that I can learn and become fluent enough to work in both.
