My name is Myah Ochoa, I'm a sophomore and I’m majoring in graphic design. Although I’m not entirely sure what I want to do with my major I am still passionate about design and I’m excited to see where this major leads me. I started becoming interested in graphic design my freshman year of High School when I joined a program called TDA, Technology and Digital Arts. This program lasted all four years of my High School experience and taught me a lot about graphic design as well as how to use the majority of the adobe apps such as:
The program also allowed me to talk to clients directly and create logos and designs to best fit their needs. It also taught me how to present my art with confidence throughout the years. Because of this program I can easily present my art in front of a group of peers as well as a client.
I'm originally from Elk Grove but I do not plan on living there forever. Although all of my family was born and raised there I plan to move to a bigger city where graphic design is more abundant. My goal after college is to get a job revolving around graphic design and settle in a town, hopefully one with a nice view. But my dream living situation is living on the coast of Oregon and being able to work from home. Although this dream will probably take years and years to complete, it's a great way of motivating myself to work hard and be successful in my graphic design career.
