Hi, my name is Niko Cornett. I'm from The Bay Area and I'm in my senior year here at Chico State. I'm a MADT major who loves creating media and being in productions whether it's film or live production. I'm an avid outdoor lover, I spend all my extra time playing sports and going on new adventures. I hope to end up in the live production industry in any way, or I would also love to make movies with my friends. I’m on the board of DFG The Digital Filmmakers Guild here at Chico State, which provides me and other members with a space to collaborate in filmmaking and production work. I also play Ultimate Frisbee for Chico State which is an amazing sport I only recently discovered last year. Frisbee has been an incredible place for me to have the constant training and activity my body was in desperate need of, and also was another amazing way to connect with new people. I’m currently working weekends at Harlows in Sacramento in order to become a bartender, and I’m hoping to land a job here in Chico at Tres Hombres in the next few weeks. On the weekends I enjoy going out with my friends and socializing outside of all the collaboration I do in school and in my clubs. I definitely have a busy schedule, but in my opinion life is much more enjoyable with a full day!
