less often than i hoped began as a solo project in 2019, inspired by a fascination with empty spaces and those quiet moments in life that seem to hold so much. It began as a personal quest into sound, but over time, it started to branch out and pull in influences from different genres. What started as a focus on ambient tones grew to include the grit and texture of noise.
At the heart of this project is a love for experimenting with electronics—layering synths, weaving in found sounds, and playing with unusual textures to create something unique. The music is meant to take you somewhere, to tap into those feelings of nostalgia, wonder, and even a little hope. It’s an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to explore both the wide-open spaces of the world and the quiet, hidden corners of your own mind.
