Minecraft is a video game available on almost all platforms, including your phone, tablet, computer, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Consoles. Minecraft has two versions to play, depending on your platform. The old classic Java edition is available for PC, Mac, and Linux, and Bedrock Edition is available on PC, mobile devices, Xbox, Playstation, and Switch. Some of the older consoles have their edition of Minecraft but are no longer getting updates; those are old, so why play Minecraft on the New Nintendo 3ds? Even though Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition are the same game, there are some differences, such as items, combat, and features. Some examples include the axe having more damage than a sword in the Java edition, Spectral Arrows, and sweeping edge enchantment, which are also exclusive to the Java edition. You can’t forget about modding the game, where Bedrock includes RTX ray tracing, two UIs to use, and a marketplace where you spend your money on coins and buy maps, skins, and add-ons, which is modifying the game’s items mobs, and mechanics, which some complain that Mojang could just put some of the features in the base game instead of having it behind a paywall.
