Intro to this Week
Welcome to our Basic Web Design class. While most of the class information will be communicated to you during our class time, I also put materials here both to support that and for you to later review.
This week we’re covering a lot of information about how the class works, but then we’ll start to get into Dreamweaver (our primary authoring software) so that you can edit your first webpage. Please work your way through the material below, and let me know if you have any questions!
This Week’s Work
Items 2 and 3 below are videos of material we’re covering in class. When I post videos I will link to any reference materials used in the lecture/demo. Sometimes there are demo files for you to download as well, so that you can use the same files I’m using while you watch the tutorial on your computer.
1. Syllabus Review
The syllabus gives you pertinent information about how the class works, what is expected of you, and how I’ll be grading you. Please read through the syllabus, and take the short Syllabus Quiz (yes, these will be your first participation points).
